Pendulum clock
A classic wooden wall clock with an arched case, a brass bezel and a pendulum swinging behind the glass. Like a real seconds pendulum it takes one second per swing, and the second hand ticks each time it reaches the end of its arc.
Choose walnut, mahogany, oak, ebony or a painted case, a brass, silver or gunmetal pendulum, and how wide it swings.

Questions
- Why does a pendulum keep time?
- A pendulum of a given length always takes almost exactly the same time to swing, however wide the swing. A pendulum about one metre long swings once a second, which is why it became the heart of accurate clocks from the 1650s until quartz.
